Scott Partners History
Scott Partners was originally founded over 20 years ago by David Scott. David specialised in taxation and business advice for small to medium sized businesses. For much of that time Scott Partners offices were a predominant feature of Station Street in Malvern. Three years ago Scott Partners moved to more accommodating offices in Burke Rd Glen Iris before settling on new offices in Malvern Rd East Malvern.
David invited Mervyn Mallet and Pauline Clayton to become the “Scott Partners” in 2005. Early in 2006 Scott Trevethan was invited to join his firm “Trevethans Chartered Accountants” with Scott Partners.
In 2009, Scott Trevethan, Merv Mallett and Christian Dal Cin formed Scott Partners Pty Ltd, which took over the accounting and taxation business. Pauline Clayton contracted back to the firm for a while and is now enjoying her retirement, although still able to undertake special assignments for us. David Scott remains the principal of Scott Partners Consulting, the Insolvency and Reconstruction side of the firm. David has remained in the Burke Road Offices.
Scott, Christian and Merv remain committed to the original ideals of David Scott. A merry band of highly skilled and motivated team members to give our clients the best tax and business advice possible.
