The SMSF Professionals Association of Australia (SPAA) is the premier body for SMSFs. Scott Trevethan recently undertook rigorous examination and we are proud to announce that as a result, Scott was made a SPAA Certified Advisor. In addition to his other advisory duties, Scott now heads up our SMSF advisory and auditing departments, ably assisted by Irwin Hirsh and Jeremy Searle. Xero is a cloud based accounting package, along similar lines and cost to that of MYOB, but incorporating the feature of automatic bank statements and coding of transactions. Xero allows for client / bookkeeper / accountant integration as there is only one file and all can work on it at the same time.
